Network & Mentorship Program
Vision
Facilitate productive mentorship and peer development for participants through a voluntary, national networking platform to promote greater cross-sectoral Canadian energy understanding, connectivity and career development.
Mission
A responsive mentorship, development and networking platform for each participant to:
- Advance their Canadian energy knowledge-base and gain new perspectives
- Pursue career development goals
- Develop cross-sectoral energy relationships with diverse colleagues, professionals and senior leaders across Canada

- Informal Energy & Espresso networking events and more formal panel discussions/conferences
- One-on-one mentorship pairings and meetings organized by the Young Energy Professional Network (YEPN) Executive
2024 Program
The YEPN is pleased to launch the Network & Mentorship Program for the 2024 year. We are currently seeking mentors and mentees who would like to participate for the upcoming program. Please see the brochure below for an overview of the 2024 programming and calendar of events.

Mentor Requirements
- You or your organization must be a member or partner of the Energy Council of Canada or be invited to participate by the YEPN Executive
- Maintain and grow a culture of excellence by upholding the Program Values.

- Expand your energy knowledge and perspective through a national and cross-sectoral platform
- Broaden and deepen your Canadian energy network
- Learn outside your organization and the traditional employer/employee relationship

Mentee Requirements
- Be a member of the Young Energy Professionals Network (YEPN) click here to register if you are not already a member, registration is free of charge

Program Values
The Young Energy Professionals Mentorship Program promotes the representation and participation of different groups of individuals, including people of different ages, races and ethnicities, abilities and disabilities, genders, religions, cultures and sexual orientations.
