Celebrating Over 20 Years of Excellence
The Canadian Energy Person of the Year Award was established in 2001 to recognize and pay tribute to a Canadian energy leader who has made a significant contribution to the sector. These award winners demonstrate an ability to balance the economic, environmental and social dimensions of energy development and delivery. Their many accomplishments have advanced the Canadian energy sector nationally and internationally.
In 2022 Canadians carefully emerged from the global pandemic, returning to school, work and each other. For those who keep us warm, connected, mobile and well-lit, changing back to the way things were, has been as challenging as adapting in the first place.
This is why we have decided again, to name Canadian Energy Workers as our Canadian Energy Person of the Year. Their dedication throughout all phases of the pandemic has been exemplary, they deserve our thanks.
